PRELIM TASK: The Shining Sweded (By Us)

We sweded the classic Stanley Kubrick horror film "The Shining". Rather than focusing on one particular scene, we decided to create an almost trailer-like swede featuring the most iconic moments of the film. The different scenes feature are:

-Jack Torrance's interview for the job at the hotel. Jack's warning about the effects of the job.
-Wendy and Jack's fight on the staircase.
-Jack locked in a room
-The bar and ballroom scene
-Delbert Grady and Jack in the bathroom - "You've always been the caretaker"
-Danny riding around the hotel on his bicycle
-"Heeere's Johnny!"
-The dead twins
- Danny - "REDRUM"
 - Blood and the elevator.

When sweding films it is interesting to see the moments in which the film is defined by it's audience. Even though our version of the film is so low budget, and features someone singing the theme tune, it is still recognisable to it's audience, even by people who haven't seen the original.
